Welcome to Iluka Retreat
Iluka Retreat is an oasis of beauty situated on 36 acres in the Mornington Peninsula Hinterland. Located on Boon Wurrung/Bunurong lands of the Kulin Nation, it is a reflection of natural elements, rolling hills, stunning vistas and native flora and fauna. A truly special place to relax and unwind, celebrate, unite with family and friends, and reconnect with nature. It is the perfect place to absorb the natural, peaceful rhythms of the land.
Iluka accommodation includes two lodges for groups and school camps plus picturesque glamping villages, and a variety of group activity options. Exclusive use of the property is available for schools, corporate groups, and special occasions. We are here to assist you in creating your own unique retreat for all group types.
The Retreat features a freshwater lake, bird hide and wetlands, sunset hilltop and beautiful meditative strolls. On site you will have access to a range of activities and challenges, including our Challenge Valley Obstacle Course, Initiative Games, Orienteering and Team Building. Head out on the lake to Canoe and Stand-Up Paddle Board or if your focus is internal, then select from a range of Meditation, Yoga, Pilates or Dance workouts (Available for large groups, booked in advance).
Make your days as relaxed or adventure filled as you desire, choose to spend your nights watching the sun set as you cosy up to your own private firepit (additional cost and subject to weather and season) or book into an activity at Bayplay Adventure Tours!

Iluka is located in Red Hill South on Victoria’s, Mornington Peninsula, an 80-minute drive from Melbourne. It is perfectly positioned close to the Shoreham township, wineries, restaurants and local attractions. An easy 1500-metre walk through the rolling landscape will bring you to Shoreham beach for a surf, swim or stroll along the beautiful beach.
