LAKE ACTIVITIES

Iluka is the ultimate school camp location. As well as 36 acres of land to explore, children will have lots of fun on lake Iluka. There’s lake activities for all age groups, maturity and skill levels, plus it gives students the opportunity to learn water based activities in a calm and safe environment. The more competent students can explore the lake and Croaky Island by canoe, raft or SUP.

This is a fun and safe way to get kids on the water while learning a new skill and water safety knowledge. Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Raft building is the ultimate in fun and teamwork. The students build rafts under the supervision of an Iluka guide.

Iluka’s picturesque lake even has its own little beach. If you are looking for a quiet period, students can spend some time swimming and relaxing.

We offer many fun team games that will keep your students active and engaged. Some of our favourites are beach volleyball and noodle soccer.

BUSH FUN

Iluka’s inclusive bush & camp activities not only get students outdoors in the fresh air surrounded by bush, but also provide a memorable learning experience that is both relevant and memorable. All the bush activities are fun and students learn through experience.

BUSH COOKING AND ART

Students will enjoy making all sorts of food over the campfire as well as foraging outside to find natural resources to create a peice of artwork.

CULTURAL PROGRAMS

At Iluka, we recognise the values and significance of Australia’s Indigenous culture and people. We have therefore developed a unique program focusing on Aboriginal culture and traditions. It is important for all Australian children to learn more about Aboriginal culture and this is the perfect introduction. Our Indigenous teacher will mesmorise your students during these fun and interactive sessions.
